Organize knowledge: Organize meaningful information objects in into a knowledge base (like a virtual library) for reuse whenever and wherever applicable. A Meaningful Knowledge Object is a collection of inter-related content pages with certain interactivity and objective. A combination of one or more meaningful knowledge objects makes up a complete meaningful information set (courses, online manual, a complete sales book, ...)

Share/Reuse content:

  • Reuse available information sets for new target groups, needs or publishing media:
      - Modify/update content: Insert images, update figures, modify paragraphs, insert evaluations, edit exercises, attach data sheets, etc
        - Change appearance and layout.
        - Adapt interactivity and navigation.
  • Reuse meaningful knowledge objects to create larger meaningful sets of knowledge (sales books, courses, intranets, etc).

Attach meta-tags: Attach descriptive tags to the meaningful knowledge objects and sets (description, keywords, author, publishing date, etc).

Version control: Strict control of versions and their components to protect control integrity.

Manage content lifecycle: Automate workflow, from creation to distribution, eliminating disconnects.

Role-based access: Different users have different access levels.

Integration with existing systems: Seamless integrate with existing systems and applications, based on international and open standards, for overall efficiency and effectiveness.
